April 22 – Earth Day at Camp Samac – (Details to be deterimined) For all sections (Sections or Families on their own can attend); Cost: $5  Enjoy a day of nature at Camp Samac. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle & Compost. Enjoy relays, scavenger hunts, planting flowers, see the trout run, cast a fishing line, plant trees, help build a compost station and much more. Pre-register to accommodate everyone. This is a fundraising event supporting new equipment for Camp Samac’s Program Cabin & Nature Centre. A BBQ lunch is available for $3/hot dog or sausage & a donation for a drink. Bring your own dishes and drink bottle.(RRR) Draws available for 25 cents, guess “how many jelly beans” & ”how many jujubes”. There will be a draw for “A program evening in Beaver Meadow” at $3 for one ticket and 3 tickets for $5. Parents are welcome.

April 29 – North Star Adventurer at Camp Samac 9:00am-2:00pm  (Details to be deterimined) – For Beavers (White Tails only); Formerly known as the White Tail Slap, 3rd year Beavers, get ready for a day of adventure. The day includes 8 activities, pizza lunch, crafts, a crest and certificate
