Functional Teams
Revenue Development Functional Team
The Revenue Development functional team supports fundraising efforts for Scouts Canada and Groups through multiple annual Campaigns inclusive of: Scout Seeds, Scout Coffee, Scout Popcorn, No One Left Behind, and Help Kids go to Camp. The functional team also looks to support Philanthropy, Corporate Giving, as well as Grants and Foundation Giving.
Program Support
Do you want to help Sections get on The Canadian Path? Are you passionate about the Scouting program, including coaching new Scouters, facilitating workshops, supporting great events and helping Scouters master new outdoor skills?
On the Program Support Functional Team, you can apply your expertise in a fun and inclusive environment. Discover NEW volunteer opportunities in: In-Section Support, ScoutCon Support, Event Support and Outdoor Adventure Support.
Communications
As a collaborative team of volunteers and staff, we help create branded resources and messaging support for Groups, Councils and other Functional Teams to drive standardized, integrated & consistent communications across Canada.
Properties
Work with the Property Operations team and individual Property Committees and volunteers to better support the safety, compliance, financial viability and overall customer experience at Scouts Canada’s properties.
Duke of Edinburgh Award
The Duke of Edinburgh Award Coordinator is committed to partnering with the other Regional Coordinators, Award Officer and Award Leaders to achieve Scouts Canada’s Strategic Goals—Membership Growth, Safety, Program Quality and Volunteer Support. Together this creates division dedicated to overseeing and ensuring youth can engage in fun, safe, youth-led Scouting adventures.
World Jamboree
Are you passionate about Scouting, love to travel, and want to help deliver an unforgettable experience for young Scouts from across the country? The Canadian Contingent Management Team (CMT) for the 25th World Scout Jamboree in South Korea is looking for Scouters interested in getting involved!
This opportunity will allow you to help plan and support the Canadian Contingent over the next two years to ensure our Canadian youth and adults are able to have an amazing Jamboree in South Korea in 2023.
