- Arrange access to a shortwave radio and take part in Jamboree on the Air!
- Usually, thousands of stations in over 70 countries take part in JOTA each year. It’s possible to contact a fairly large number of them. Often, contact is made with members in very remote parts of the world.

- How did you feel before, during and after this adventure?

Keep it Simple
- Sometimes, the hardest part of Jamboree on the Airwaves is getting on the air! Finding a radio to use might be challenging, so why not use something you do have access to, like the internet? Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI) is an event that runs the same weekend as JOTA – why not try getting involved with JOTI?

- Getting access to a shortwave radio might be challenging for some Groups. Partner with a local amateur radio group and put on a JOTA event for your community! Learn about how to use the radio and invite other nearby Scouting Groups to join you!
