As an organization that envisions Scouting youth making meaningful contributions to creating a better world, our youth-led program fosters a passion for the environment and a sense of responsibility that our members maintain for the rest of their lives.
Scouting youth take on active roles as environmental stewards, encouraging the Canadian public to embrace the protection of nature too by carrying out environmental service projects like forest restoration and green space cleanups. Since 1972, Scouting youth have planted over 80 million trees across Canada, and since 2002, Scouting youth have removed 5,314 kg of litter from 249 km of shoreline.
Trail Cards for all Sections explore a variety of themes and help youth to plan, do and review exciting service projects and adventures.
