The Around the Pond Kit for Beaver Scouts
The activities in the kit are designed to encourage Beaver Scouts to explore the natural world around them. They use their five senses to discover how animals see the world and where they live, as well as learn how animals adapt and work together to build shelters and survive. These great adventures are designed to help the Beaver Scouts understand more about the world they live in. The kit is currently available in Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.

Want to know more about echolocation? Try the Echolocation Challenge with a friend.
What information can you collect using only your sense of touch? Help your friends find out What’s In The Bag?
Or, get to know a nearby tree while wearing a blindfold, and then try to Find Your Tree again later.
Do you have a sharp nose or a keen tongue? Test your senses of Taste and Smell and discover how they are connected!
You would be surprised what you can find in a small area. Take your own Tiny Habitat Survey in an outdoor space near your meeting location.
