International Team

Meet the Scouts Canada International Team. This group of dedicated Scouters can assist with all inquiries related to international events, jamborees, development projects and other international programs.

Andrew Price

International Commissioner

Andrew serves as Scouts Canada’s official liaison with other National Scout Organizations (NSO), the Interamerican Region (IAR), and the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM).

Reach out to one of his team members if you need assistance with international events, international exchanges, development projects, volunteer opportunities, and international programs (e.g., Digital Pen Pal, Messengers of Peace, and JOTA-JOTI).

Brian Wick

International Contingents Lead

Brian helps form the Contingent Management Team (CMT) for Canada’s official delegations to international events such as other NSO’s national jamborees, WOSM regional events, World Scout Moot, and World Scout Jamboree. He also guides contingents by sharing our best practices.

Contact Brian if you are interested in forming or joining an official Canadian delegation.

Nathan Yiu

International Programs Lead

Nathan encourages Canadian Scouts to partake and benefit from international programs. Do you want to find how it’s like to lead a jamboree patrol in Japan, work at the Kandersteg International Scout Centre in Switzerland or attend an International Leadership Training in Panama? Send an email to Nathan to get firsthand information.

He can also show you how to align your Canadian Path journey to achieve international recognition, such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award, Scout of the World Award, and Messengers of Peace.

Jason Gingrich

International Promotions Lead

Jason grew up Scouting in Ontario, and after his first international experience, he's excited to promote more international opportunities to more Scouts.

Curious about the world of international Scouting but not sure where to start? Or if you’re curious about an International event that isn’t on the list, let Jason know!

David Ross

International Relations Lead

David builds international relationships with other national, regional, and world Scouting leaders to bring Canada to the world and the world to Canada.

If you are a Canadian Scout interested in connecting with other NSOs or an international Scout who would like to visit Canada, don’t hesitate to contact David.

(To Be Appointed)

International Support Lead

For Canadian Scouts who are planning to travel abroad to visit other Scouts, participate in an exchange, apply for the Canadian Brotherhood Fund for an international project or attend an official Scouting event, the support volunteer will point you to the official policies and procedures.

Contact then for tour permits, consent forms, trip itinerary, risk assessment, travel insurance, membership confirmation, and more. If you also want to participate in our Digital Pen Pal Program or JOTA-JOTI or host a visiting international Scouting group, they can provide you with more information.
